i have an 03 F-150, 6-cyl. been having problems starting, found that fuel pressure was very low. I replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter two weeks ago. It has been driving fine for two weeks, however, it has been difficult to start a few times. This am it would not start. I checked the fuel pressure at the manifold and it was zero.

When the ignition is turned on, i can hear the fuel pump priming and then shut off. However, the fuel pressure reads zero.

I've checked the inertia/fuel shut off switch and it is fine.

Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated

First, welcome to the forum!

Next, it is possible that when you put in the new pump and filter that you loosened up some debris in the tank/lines and it could be a simple clog in the new filter. Have you removed the filter to see if fuel flow is strong to that point?
